These terms are an agreement between the hospital and the Nabatshia team, which runs the platform. Whoever creates the hospital account confirms they are authorised to bind the hospital to them, and each team member accepts them when accepting an invitation. For any question about these terms, write to [email protected].
Nabatshia is an online intermediary that lets a hospital post extra shifts and reach verified doctors. The platform is not the doctors’ employer and does not provide medical services. Each shift is a separate agreement between the hospital and the doctor. The hospital is responsible for supervising the doctor clinically during the shift, for a safe working environment, and for complying with Ministry of Health regulations and the law inside its facility.
The hospital can’t post until its documents are approved: commercial registry, tax card, Ministry of Health facility licence, the authorised signatory’s ID, and the location of at least one branch. Keep your details accurate and renew documents before they expire. We verify doctors’ documents based on what is submitted to us; the hospital remains responsible for any extra checks its own regulations require.
The account owner invites team members and sets their roles and the branches and departments they can use. The hospital is responsible for everything done from its team’s accounts, and for removing access when someone leaves.
Post accurate details: branch, department, specialty, grade, time, pay and number of doctors. The pay you enter is the net amount the doctor earns; the platform’s fees are added to it and shown before you post. Don’t enter any patient information in shift notes or anywhere else on the platform. Changing the pay, time or requirements after doctors apply notifies the applicants. A material change to a confirmed shift lets the doctor cancel without any effect on them.
Show the rotating attendance code at reception throughout the check-in window. Reception can confirm a doctor’s attendance by hand when check-in fails, and this is recorded under the name of whoever confirmed it. After the doctor checks out, the hospital confirms completion within the time shown in the dashboard; otherwise it is confirmed automatically. You can open a dispute instead.
Cancelling a doctor’s confirmed seat shortly before the shift gives the doctor compensation as a percentage of the pay, and cancelling after they have checked in gives them the full pay, according to the notice periods and percentages shown in the dashboard at the time. Compensation is added to the hospital’s statement. The hospital’s cancellation rate may be shown to doctors if cancellations repeat. For documented force majeure, the operations team can waive compensation.
The hospital pays the doctor’s pay and the platform fee for each completed shift, plus any cancellation compensation. The current rates are shown before posting and saved on the shift when it is posted. The platform issues a periodic statement with the shifts, amounts, payments and balance. Payment is currently by bank transfer or InstaPay to the platform account shown on the statement, quoting its reference, within the period stated on the statement. The platform pays doctors on schedule even if the hospital pays late. Overdue amounts are shown to the hospital and to the finance team, and repeated late payment may restrict posting after prior notice.
The hospital or the doctor can open a dispute on a completed shift within the window shown. The related amount is frozen until the operations team gives a written decision after reviewing the records and evidence. Ratings are mutual and hidden until both sides have rated or the set time has passed. Rate honestly and only on the shift.
Use the doctor details you see only to organise the shift they applied for. Don’t keep them for another purpose or share them, and protect them as the Personal Data Protection Law requires.
The platform is not responsible for clinical work or for the actions of doctors or the hospital during a shift. The hospital is responsible for covering doctors working at its facility with professional liability insurance where the law or its regulations require it. As far as the law allows, the platform’s liability to the hospital is limited to the platform fee for the shift in question.
We may suspend the hospital’s account or team members who break these terms, or to protect doctors and patients, and we explain the reason and how to appeal. Suspension does not cancel confirmed shifts automatically. To close the hospital’s account, contact us to settle the balance and any open disputes. Each team member can delete their own account from the settings, as long as the hospital has another active owner.
We process the hospital’s and its team’s data as the privacy policy explains.
If we change these terms we tell you in the dashboard, and the new version is shown to accept before you continue.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Arabic version prevails over the English translation if they differ.
